A little about Village Hearth Bakery & Café
At Village Hearth Bakery & Café, we use the freshest ingredients using local whenever possible to bring you the highest quality food.
Our mission is to keep it fresh, keep it local, and keep you happy.
We offer breakfast sandwiches on house made Portuguese muffins, biscuits and bagels, with a variety of meat and non-meat selections to top them off. Our Avocado Toast is one of a kind - made on our own multi-grain bread topped with goat cheese and our pickled red onions (YUM!). We have a wide selection of pastries including muffins, scones, cookies and so much more. Breakfast options are served all day.
Our lunch menu, also served all day, consists of sandwiches, salads and soups (seasonal). Our breads, including a variety of bagels, sandwich baguettes, multi-grain, and pullman loaves are all made in house.
Our wood-fired brick oven transforms dough into beautiful pizzas served each Friday which runs March to December every year.
We are fortunate to have such a great location in Jamestown and a beautiful outside area for our guests to relax, enjoy a great cup of coffee, read a book, catch up on a little work, grab and go, or whatever you prefer. The Jamestown Community Playground is just across the street and kids of all ages come from far and wide to enjoy their time here on the island.

Breakfast Sandwiches
This is our plain bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, bacon and avocado.

Roasted Pumpkin & Cauliflower Bisque
House roasted pumpkin and cauliflower soup topped with a roasted cauliflower and pumpkin seed garnish served with a baguette.

Bahn Mi Sandwich
Thin sliced Shar sui roast pork topped with fresh cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrot and daikon and a Bahn Mi sauce served on a baguette.
Stephanie & Chef Lindsay Haigh
We moved to Jamestown from Atlanta in December 2020 to purchase this amazing bakery & café. Stephanie spent 25+ years in talent acquisition leadership roles across several large corporations in Atlanta, and Chef Lindsay is a "recovering attorney" who left behind a successful private practice which she opened in 2007. We have a shared passion for good, beautiful food, and plan to share this love with anyone who visits our bakery & café.
