RaNew Salon is owned and operated by Rachel and her oldest daughter Amber. Our staff are all local women who love working where they live.
Rachel has been a stylist in Newport for 26 years, opening RaNew Salon in 2010 after co owning her first salon Ki-Ra for 7 years. RaNew is not spelled wrong, lol, it’s just a spin off on the positive changes when striking out on her own.
Rachel has employeed many young, talented women throughout her career and continues to work with her local Cosmetology school to keep mentoring the next generation of stylists in this industry!
Rachel has seen how great it has been to make a living doing what she loves, while allowing her to raise her children as a single mom. Now her oldest daughter is an active part of the operation and they are a dynamic duo, working alongside many other amazing women!
