There is plenty to see at Norman Bird Sanctuary throughout the year. We offer 325 acres of open space and 7 miles of hiking trails. You will be sure to see a variety of wildlife, including local and migratory birds, depending on the season.
We are a community organization with the mission of preserving and protecting habitats and providing environmental education to diverse audiences of all ages. Our mission, defined by our founder Mabel Norman Cerio, has continued to improve the quality of life on Aquidneck Island and across the state for more than 70 years.
